The mites produce allergens, which are the most common cause of asthma known. According to the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology, approximately 10 percent of Americans show allergic sensitivity to house dust mites. The autumn and winter months are a particular problem, as we closed our shops and the concentrations of dust mites and their droppings increased the interior.
Some of the symptoms of house dust allergies are:
Sneeze
Itch
FieryEczema
Cold
Stuffy nose
Watering and redness of the eyes
Blockage in the lung
Asthma, respiratory problems
pressure and facial pain
Frequent awakening
Swollen, the skin under the eyes blue
Dust mites feed on shed human skin flakes and PET and found more likely to be in bedrooms and kitchens. An average adult scales up to 1.5 grams per day skin, which is enough to feed one million mites. A typical used mattress mayanywhere from 100,000 to 10 million mites inside.
The house dust mite favorite "playgrounds" are:
oCarpets
oMattresses
oBedding (especially pillows)
oUpholstered Furniture
oClothing
Mites are too small to the naked eye (250-300 microns in length and has a translucent body). The presence of dust mites which are microscopic collecting samples from mattresses, couches or carpets can be confirmed. It takesat least 10 times magnification can be correctly identified. The mite adult cuticle (which) has grooves that seem simple on both dorsal (top you can see) and ventral (see below).
The mites prefer places with 70 degrees Celsius or higher, and the humidity about 75% to 80%. Moreover, poor ventilation and indoor air pollution, such as car exhaust or tobacco smoke, dust mite allergy symptoms worse.
However, there are some companies offer aService, steam or UV light to kill dust mites in mattresses and remove it. But there is no scientific evidence that the mites do not appear again.
How to prevent dust allergies?
1.Use breathable organic beds
2.Use barrier mattress and pillow covers with zipper
3.Use non-feather pillows
4.Wash all bedding in hot water once a week
Freezing and sunlight kills mites, but do not remove their backwardness. In addition to freezing temperatures andWashing products at temperatures above 130 degrees F, the prolonged exposure to sunlight and low humidity also destroy the mites.
Follow these tips to minimize dust levels in other locations:
-Vacuum all carpets and upholstery at least once a week
-Wash carpets and curtains in hot water
Clean floors and furniture with a damp cloth or mop often
-Use a conditioner to reduce humidity
-Keep the humidity in the house below 55%
Soft-WashPlush toys and often in hot water
Replace carpet wall to wall with wood or vinyl flooring
conditioner Clean or replace the air filter on your furnace or air at least once a month. Filters which are estimated to trap allergens, are apparently more effective than simple glass fabric.
